Nonprofit organization registration in Estonia

The main goal of an Estonian non-profit organization ( NPO or MTÜ – mittetulundusühing ) is not to earn income from economic activities.
Estonian non-profit organization can be used to achieve the goals specified in its statutes.
A non-profit organization does not distribute profits among its members (may not pay dividends).
Estonian non-profit organization can be economically active, have a bank account, sign contracts and pay salaries.

The Estonian non-profit organization must have
– At least 2 members (natural or legal persons)
– At least one board member – only natural persons
– Registered address in Estonia.
